when it rains, it pours

For those of you still following this tale:

On Tuesday, September 5th, with pineapple still digesting in my stomach from the Hawaiian BBQ at the Gaz's the day before, I was let go my job.

Now, nearly two full months later - two months of more resume editing, printing, and handing out, more phonecall follow-ups, more "help wanted" sign scouring than I have ever done in my life - I have an interview. At Starbucks. Followed by another interview tomorrow, at a dentist's office. Accompanied by another promising job offer at Berlitz, and three similar administrative positions, at clinics, design firms, and consultant companies, all looking for help.

What? WHAT? Zero to six? In a day? Must be God.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."

Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets."

When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

(Luke 5:4-7)

I understand your desire to only post interesting bits of your life, but can I just say:

Not posting ANY bits of your life is also uninteresting.
